SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The school will be closed on these days. Please prepare ahead for these days. If you want the school to babysit your child on these holidays, we can give you a quote but you need to make reservations in advance so that we can assign a teacher for your child. If you have any questions just give us a call : )

 

New Year - Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 - nearest weekday is observed if it falls on a weekend.

Dr. Martin Luther King day - 3rd Monday of January

President's Day - 3rd Monday of February

Good Friday

Memorial Day - Monday - Last week of May

Independence Day - July 4th or nearest weekday if the 4th is on a weekend.

Labor Day - Monday, 1st Monday of September

Veteran's Day - November 11, or nearest weekday if it falls on a weekend.

Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Friday - Last week of November.

Christmas - Dec. 24 & 25 - or nearest weekday if it falls on a weekend.

 

The rule of thumb in the observance of holidays is: "If the holidays falls on weekends, the nearest weekday is observed. If it falls on a Tuesday, Monday and Tuesday are observed. If it falls on Thursday, Thursday and Friday are observed. If it falls on Mobday, Wednesday or Friday, the holiday will be observed on the same date."
